Subject: International
Christian Recovery Coalition--Old School A.A. on the agenda and return
Haven't heard from you
to any extent since the glorious days where you asked me to speak at the
Christian Endeavor Anniversary, and then were kind enough to send me some of
their books. I lodged them in the Dr. Bob Core Library, North Congregational
Church, St. Johnsbury, Vermont, where Dr. Bob and his family were soaking up
Bible and salvation.
I know you have a new direction. But I will point you to the new website and projects of International Christian Recovery Coalition. www.ChristianRecoveryCoalition.shtml. I'm the Executive Director, and we are worldwide in outreach.
Our current, effective, lively mission is to bring the role of God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Bible back before A.A. and recovery eyes. The key is "Old School A.A." which was uniformly described as First Century Christianity at work. Why not today? Why drift farther away from God and His Son? Why not promote the great fellowships in the Book of Acts where they daily fellowshipped together, prayed together, broke bread together, heard the Word of God together, converted others together, healed them, and witnessed together. They church grew by the thousands.
Tim: Just thought I would touch bases again and tell you that there is a mighty rushng wind--a rapidly growing Christian Recovery Movement. And, for those who want to emulate, be empowered, and be effective like those in the Apostolic Age, there is a new need, a new revival, and a new passion like the one I saw you having.
