We are happy to announce that we have published our new book: Dick B. and Ken B., Stick with the Winners!: How to Conduct More Effective 12-Step Recovery Meetings Using Conference-Approved Literature: A Dick B. Guide for Christian Leaders and Workers in the Recovery Arena (Kihei, HI: Paradise Research Publications, Inc., 2012). For a short while longer, it will be available for purchase as a “digital download” using the “Donate” button in the center column of the www.DickB.com Web site for only $9.95. We have also published it in 8 ½” x 11,” spiral-bound form while we are finalizing the cover for the 6” x 9”, Print-On-Demand (P.O.D.) version. Very shortly, it will be available in P.O.D. and eBook formats.

We are also building an entire Stick with the Winners! class around our new book. We have already produced nine videos for the class and will be producing more than 10 additional videos over the next several days. We will be publishing these videos in a password-protected section of our new www.ChristianRecoveryRadio.com Web site and also on a password-protected section of YouTube.com. These 20+ videos will be available for a one-time fee of $30.00 as a supplement to the material in the Stick with the Winners! book.

In addition, our new Stick with the Winners! book will be the centerpiece of the International Christian Recovery Coalition’s First 2012 North American Conference Friday through Saturday, May 18-19, 2012, at the new His Place Church facility in Westminster, California. We will also be featuring this book in our meetings during the May 14-21, 2012, time period in and around Orange County which will lead up to and follow the International Christian Recovery Coalition conference.

We are also very excited to report that three wonderful, knowledgeable, eager, and talented volunteers have come on board to help us complete and publish the series of videos that, together with the new Stick with the Winners! book, will make up the new “Stick with the Winners!” class. These volunteers all live here on Maui. Most of our work with these volunteers is being done at our Christian Recovery Resource Center office in the Kihei Salvation Army building. The Maui Christian Recovery Resource Center represents a partnership between the Salvation Army of Maui County and the headquarters of the International Christian Recovery Coalition located in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Our new volunteers are:

·         Our long-time friend and supporter, Bob J.

·         David J.

·         David J.’s son, Danny

This new team of volunteers, together with other factors, have enabled us to expedite completion of the series of “Stick with the Winners!” videos. These volunteers have enabled us to cut class preparation expenses. In addition, they have meant that the increasing donations from benefactors we have begun to receive lately are producing a far greater “bang for the buck.” The regular, promised contributions of our new benefactors have often been $50.00 per month and/or larger sums to help us offset our research, publishing, and traveling expenses. We greatly appreciate the support of new benefactors who can help us further our work, as we plan to move more and more to free publication and distribution of Dick B. and International Christian Recovery Coalition materials and services.

There’s more. We have just about completed our assembling of a host of materials that tell and document many new and important details about “old-school,” First Century Christianity-oriented, Akron A.A. These evidentiary Several resources and archive sites on A.A. history titles, articles, audios, and videos are being made a part of our ongoing and extensive past research on the subject of Alcoholics Anonymous History.
